capacity of governmental Education Offices and school directors, to improve
the management and the organisation of the schools.
Improvement of school attendance
rates and learning performance through organisation of tutorial classes,
provision of stationery to indigent students and provision of potable water
in schools which are far from water sources.
Strengthening of the involvement
and participation of parents and community members in the management and
organisation of the schools.
Increase of the interest and
active participation of the students in important issues as HIV, gender
inequalities, sanitation and proper water use, environment preservation, etc.
through support of existing student clubs and organisation of cultural activities.
Support to collateral educative
activities as laboratory classes and library use.
Support and diffusion of
education programmes for workers in the area, to give basic alphabetisation
to the adult members of the rural communities.
